Inserting a hot water tap/valve in the heater hot feed pipe

There was a thread somewhere on here about a year ago describing how someone had fitted a basic on off tap/valve into the hot feed pipe to their heater system. I have a Griff but it may have been a Chimaera, can't remember. I have tried searching but because the search facility is crap on Pistionheads now-days I can't find it (can't seem to search by section within individual sections like you could with the old advanced search) - I bought the valve some time ago but wanted to see the thread again to see which hose to let it into. Anyone remember this thread? Thanks...
