Any recommendations for a decent little compressor that won't "break the bank"?

Something like this maybe? or do I need to spend a bit more to get something that won't rattle and shake to bits in no time?

Most are pretty poor and take an age.
Its best to blow your tyres up to a high pressure then gradually let them down.

I bought one of these…

I've got an Aldi one which comes as part of a jump start battery, emergency lights sort of thing. Charges up off 240v, then carry it out to your car to blow the tyres up.
I've also got an old Freelander plug in 12v one.

As previously stated they take an age to raise the pressure by a few psi.
