After a rather stressful 12 months following a very botched respray elsewhere (full details and pictorial evidence will follow at some point) I want to say a MASSIVE public thankyou to the team at Surface & Design who have not only resprayed my car, but uncovered a massive amount of bodges from previous, rectified them, added a few touches of my own (Sag fuel cap and cam cover for example) and lastly changed the colour to Toyota Blackish red. I took delivery of my car on Saturday and when the sun hit it fires a deep red metallic right across her.
D&C trim also changed my carpets from light grey to the new black with red piping and again a fantastic job from them as well.
To anyone thinking of using either company I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Very professional, know what their doing and more importantly they also listen, this despite the fact 1 PHer (glowtt where are you?) who has never met me nor knew any of the background opted to phone them and ‘tell’ them not to deal with me?????
Anyway, I’ll let a few pics do the talking for now, despite the fact she needs a clean hopefully these will give an idea of how good I think she looks;

There was one of those car restoration programs on discovery where they took a hot rod and painted it a similar colour, looked stunning in the light, much like yours. Good choice.

Very, very nice, love it!

We can and do spend thousands on these great machines, and at times, the stress can be high, especially when things aren't as good as you'd hoped after shelling out thousands, and then have to spend more to rectify stuff that should have been perfect in the first place!

But when it's all done, when everything's sorted, there's no better feeling when looking at it and driving it - only then it all makes sense, and the highs and lows of the past year or seem worth it.

That's what I tell myself, anyway.....

ETA - for the tyres, I use this, looks great when applied and long-lasting:

The tyres looking like that is my fault and I would like to apologise to Tony for that. I do not like missing things. Malcolm.

No need to apologise Malcolm, the paintwork is suberb and smooth as glass so thankyou and the rest of your colleagues for your efforts beer
The colour is so much better than I thought it would be and ties in so well with the interior and new carpets. Only thing I should have had done extra is have the seat backs colour coded, that will likely come very soon smile

I remember when the T350 first came out I was gobsmacked by the styling.

It still looks as good today, well over a decade later.

Lovely paint job thumbup

Hi Tony

Trust me 100% I only know too well what it is like to have a so called specialist completely fk you car up. Luckily it has all been done now and the case with the solicitors is complete. WOW!!!!

It has been a very stressful year and a bit, however my car has been in the care of some very, very detailed hands and must say F1 SAG is looking very, very sexy.

By the way I love the colour of your car and I am so happy that you can now enjoy the car again fella. Look forward to seeing it in the flash. If I could turn the clocks back 25 years I st you not gents I would become a TVR Garage who offered a 1 stop shop and knowing me and my OCD, I am confident I would have been one of the best in the business. laugh

But reality states that I am pretty handy with Locks instead. wink

Enjoy the car fella.
