Watched a Hornpush go through flea bay last night finished at £35.00 with the postage. Rang TVR parts this morning and got one for £9.00 plus postage, somebody has paid well over the odds !. Oh and by the way even though the badge for the push is listed seperately its now in with the price ! result !.

I watched that too. Someone has got fleeced and the buyer a good few more beers than they would have expected. I checked to see how much they were so had some idea what the max would be.

Proves the point that TVR Parts are not as pricey as some claim on here (on certain parts)

I'd like to agree with you but someone going a bit silly on an auction doesn't really detract from the expense of TVR Parts

In fact I desperately want to support the new TVR return by purchasing parts from their site, but I am yet to bring myself to pay double the price that most of their parts seem to be.

Perfect example is the Ignition Coil that I was searching for recently. £102 on TVR Parts, five minute search of G oogle and I had sourced the same part for £62 (65% increase on price)

Their spark plugs are about £6, most suppliers in the UK, even A mazon sell them for £4 (50% increase). £2 doesn't sound like much and if they were physically in a shop when I happened to be present and needing them then I probably wouldn't be fussed. But online where it is much easier to shop around it makes no sense.

The airbox Is another example that I'm looking around for at the moment. £600 on TVR parts seems a tad much when you consider that the carbon option is only £150 more on ACT

The CF airbox is actually closer to £900 with VAT

To be fair when I changed my rad in the spring they wanted £270 plus exchange and after explaining the damage to mine they wanted another £70. Went to a local firm and got a new one for £150.....
