I'd like to connect the engine coolant temperature to my Megajolt but I have some questions about the wiring.
My plan is to use the sensor which sends the signal to the ECU (ETC 8496).
Is it just a Matter of creating a T junction and sending a wire to Megajolt or is there more to it? ( and which wire to cut?)
Thanks
Philippe

Temperature sensors work on resistance so I suspect 2 ECUs trying to read the same sensor will not work.
If you are not using it I would take out the Rover sensor behind the ECU sensor and fit your Megajolt sensor there.

The megajolt/squirt typically used a gm temperature sensor. You can get the correct thermistor from RS and then make your own up by drilling out the oem sensor and putting the correct sensor in it.

some info and the part number here:

Thanks a lot for the infos.
It looks like I'll be using the Range-Rover thermistance instead....
