Protecting Polished Alloy

Evening all

I had rebuild last year and promised myself I wouldn't become an engine bay tart... however

Polished/cleaned up my fuel rail (not to shiney) end of last year and notices now that it's oxidising white powder. Is there a product that I can add that prevent this? I'm sure I've read somewhere of a product that does this, but was in the US..

Beglom Alu is a polish that also leaves a protective film to prevent things like this.
