Absolutely, and I would recommend watching the race if you missed it, fantastic driving of a well prepared car.

Gents, many thanks for your kind words and support - the poor little thing had to be driven hard and Mike Jordan was both briliant and brave. I don't know if you knew but BFR 400B was raced at Goodwood in June 1965 by the late great Tommy Entwistle = and on that day David Hives ran him on behalf of the factory. A very fragile David Hives came as our guest at the weekend and watched it win !! as did Colin Archibald who had owner of BFR for 29 years before he sold her to me.

He had a ball thanks for having him as a guest, I am now being badgered to get the Gem out.

Mike,

Well done for an excellent win.

See attached from BARC I assume this is the race you are referring to. Tommy was 14th on this occasion, but slightly more formidable opposition from big engined Sports Racers.

I'm researching TVR race history and if possible would like to touch base to see if we can help each other with the Griffith race history.

Kind regards
