Why a Q plate ?

Apart from some questionable exits with full right foot and lock on (and some in the wet...) it is a great compilation of noise but wondered why the yellow Griff at 3:00 and 6:20 in was on a Q plate ?

Built up from a new chassis and parts from scrapped cars possibly.

Rebuilt or kit car usually, this 'Griff' shows as first reg in 2007 with a 3500 engine, so an odd one.
