Speed 6 clutch alignment tool?
Discussion
Does anyone have one that they would be willing to 'rent out' to me please? Motaclan have them listed at £1.94 - but none in stock! I need to buy bits from Motaclan anyway so I was hoping to add one to my order. Motaclan link - https://motaclan.com/product/tvr-clutch-alignment-...
As it's a fairly 'minimal' item, I wonder if I can 3D print one? But this relies on me being able to model one correctly ...
Racetech have one at £24.99 ex VAT plus any P&P - but also out of stock.

Cheers, that would be great - it should be a 25mm (or 1" - which is 25.4 obvs) x 23 splines - but I don't know the profile of the splines (minor axis, spline shape etc). By a quick measure of my gearbox input shaft, the spigot is 30mm long x 15mm diameter, the splines are 60mm long, overall length needed 90mm long - or thereabouts! Plus some way to grab it back out if it gets stuck (I'll thread a bolt into it so I have something to pull on.)
The alignment tool is only needed if you don't have a helper prepared to depress the clutch when installing the gearbox
Alternatively a broom can be used between the seat back and the clutch pedal to depress the clutch if working alone
Just fold the seat forward and put the broom head on the seat, and slide the seat in to place to depress the clutch

It is if you are putting the engine and box together out of the car and fitting them as a unit. Especially if you don't have a pedal box fitted yet!Alternatively a broom can be used between the seat back and the clutch pedal to depress the clutch if working alone

I want it to set the pedal on my rebuilt pedal box (rust, minor pin bent, all the bushes and replacing the clutch master cylinder).
My thoughts were that my better half (Joolz) would be able to understand visually as it then actually spinning the two plates whilst I pressed the clutch to find the bite (setting the clevis/pin) before putting the gearbox back in.
