With my recently aquired Chimaera, I got really pissed at the faff of jump starting or even charging the battery.
So a good days work to run cables to the front of the car for a weatherproof jump point. Now it is dead easy with no crawling around in the passengers foot well!

Yikes! ¦:¬O

If this isn't a wind-up, that is probably the ugliest possible sledgehammer to crack a small nut of a minor irritation.

Why not just plug in a trickle charger into the cigarette lighter?

For many years now owners have been fitting (discretely) an Anderson connector.

My car sits on a trickle charger whenever it's back in the garage, but then a Cerbera Battery is easier to get to

if your battery is so low that it needs a jump start, chances are that the battery is knackered.
A small anderson connector for recharging is all that’s needed.

Indeed a fully charged healthy battery that’s disconnected will stay charged for up to six months.

I went the Anderson connection on a short lead to battery I also bought a small lithium jump starter and adapted a spare connector with a 2nd Anderson connector.

I assume your connector will be mostly hidden by your number plate.

I was surprised to find out that my Giulia also has an Anderson connector smile

I've been using a Battery Brain since 2004.
I used to leave my car for weeks on end in an airport car park in Germany.
Had them on my Chimaera, Mk1 Tuscan and on my current (pun) Tuscan Convertible.

Never suffered a flat battery since.
Remote on/off so no faffing about.

Interesting product. Be good to know if it's solid state or a relay.

The one I use is a different brand ("Priority Start") and uses a motorised contactor - you can hear the motor running each time it makes or breaks the connection.

I think the BB is a contactor.
There's a clunk when you wake it up.
