Do my tyres need replacing

Are my tyres gone completely or can I still drive on them. Shoulders seem to be worn a bit.

Legally No, but 2 are on the wear bars and one is splitting open in the tread. So yes i would be changing them

Your tyres are worn evenly and not quite down to the tread wear indicator bars (which indicate 1.6mm depth), so they are legal to drive on. They should be more than this deep across the central 3/4 of the width of the tyre. And it looks like yours are OK in this respect.

However you're not far off the minimum depth and the tyres won't displace water on a wet road as well as a fresh set, so you might consider that the time is right to change them. Depending on your driving style, you probably only have 1000-3000 miles left before they are worn to the legal limit.

Nothing in the wear bars in those pics.

However I do replace my tyres once they pass 3mm.

I agree. The Legal limit is 1.6mm. As far as I know, all tyre makers use that for their TWIs. As for me, I change at 3mm if approaching winter, I may go more towards 2mm during the summer, if conditions suit. It would be rare for the depth to be exactly the same across a tyre.
