I need to replace my passenger side front tyre.

Is it ok to just replace that tyre or should I also replace the drivers side front tyre as well?

The rear tyres were replaced about 6 months ago, they're Michelin Cross Climate 2's and that's what I intend to replace the front with.

No real need to if the other one is ok, some cars can be fussy about similar tyres on the same axle if they are 4wd so just something to check.

I would personally replace both, if the rears are Michelin CC and the front is a Dunlop.
As the rears are only 6 months old, why not bring all four tyres up to the same tyre brand and grade?

All Season / Summer mismatch is a bit dubious front to rear, and same again across an axle:- Not a huge problem in Summer, but come winter there could be significant variations in traction.

I’d change both; Keep the better one as an emergency spare.

Thanks all for your replies. I ended up replacing both tyres with the cross climates.
