Why arguments, most of us don't have the opportunity to sample across many brands and designs in comparable conditions.

I'd absolutely love the opportunity to do assessments similar to those Jon enjoys.

Arguments when the resident tyre experts on here try to tell us that their experience is the complete opposite and their Chinese ditchfinders that cost £10/corner lasted 1,000,000 miles and 3 trips across the Antarctic wink

Me too, but I don't think I can drive consistently enough to make a career out of it - although I'd love for someone to pay for an Arctic circle snow-driving experience for me.

Watched this the other night as I need new tyres for my daily hack and was thinking about going all seasons for a change.

Vredstein finished strong in all areas and can be had for £80 a corner on black circles currently.

Wondering if to take a punt on these or stick with a set of summer rubber

It's a point he's made before about the Michelin's sacrificing a bit too much in search of snow performance.

They're genuinely better than some full winter tyres. I use them as a dedicated UK winter tyre. You'd need a once in 20 year event to warrant anymore in the UK.
