Does your truck have ABS? Give it a good roadtest with a few emergency stops then re-bleed the system. Sometimes air gets stuck in the ABS pump.
Personally when I am bleeding brakes I will get an assistant to pump the pedal vigorously then hold it on. I will then slacken the bleed screw release the air/fluid. Then I tighten the screw before telling the assistant to release and re-apply the brakes.
People think this is the long way to bleed the brakes but you won't need to re-bleed the system afterwards so it works out faster!
