Red stuff were noticeably better than OEM that were really dusty. When I changed to winter set the front wheels which had the red stuff on came up much cleaner with a simple jet wash, although both needed a scrub to get really clean.
I ran ceramic brake pads on my q7. There was very little dust that was the main bonus. Unfortunately they chewed the discs to hell and were awful until there was heat in them.
