I’ve just had a pair of six pot Brembo calipers refurbed with new pistons and bleed nipples. Some people have advised to wrap the threads of the bleed nipples with ptfe tape to avoid the metals fusing together and making it difficult to service them at a later date.

Is this advisable or would maybe some other lubricant on the threads do?

Anti seize compound is the other popular option.

Do NOT use PTFE tape, it is the wrong stuff for the job & will not actually do what you want it to do.

As above, just use "anti-seize" grease on the threads.

...100% this, and give them a 1/4 turn loosen/tighten once a year.
