Mixing tyre types. Crossclimate vs pilot Sport4

I have a BMW I4 which is fitted with Pilot Sport 4s. The rears are at the point of being replacing and I was thinking about getting air-weather cross climate 2s. They seem to have good reviews and are compatible with an EV.
My front PS4s still hence 5mm of tread so will last a while yet.
I've always been dubious about mixing tyres and can't justify replacing all four at once.
Thoughts on the tyres themselves and mixing.

Everyone says you shouldn’t mix the types but like you said, difficult to justify swapping all 4 when 2 have plenty of tread left.
Swapped out 2 in the past doing a similar thing, stuck the all-seasons on the back and didn’t notice any issues with stability or handling. I don’t drive like a maniac and the next year I swapped the other 2 for all-seasons. No issues.
