Can I Make My Brakes Better?

Might seem stupid, but my brakes are dump. What is the best way too have a bit more grip on the discs? Can you adjust the hydraulic pressure between the pedal and the pad? Or should I consider EBC pads and see how they feel?

First thing to do is bleed the system completely, or even do a complete change of brake fluid. Get them checked on a brake roller at your local MOT station, they will tell you if the efficiency is down or might even point at the problem, before you start chucking money at it.

The pedal feel can be changed dramatically by changing the pad compound and bedding the pads in properly. There's nothing you can do about the hydraulics unless you plan to substantially redesign the braking system.
