can you interchange / swap brake pads

say have to sets one for road one for track? i imagin not due to the bedding in but thought i'd ask as I had some new pads put on my track day car. They are only standard pads and i dont want them to disappear on the track within a few laps. feels a waste to bin them though. wondered if i could swap them.

Yes and no, you'll always need a little bit of bedding in to get the faces and grooves to match up tightly, so you'll loose a little performance for the first while, but it'll come back
