Exhaust tip cleaning

Hi all,

Has anyone used autoglym clean wheels on exhaust tips?
I think it would work well but I'm a little concerned that it will be too corrosive. Any suggestions?

Another vote for Autosol.

I've used it on stuff that I thought was too far gone for saving, and Autosol brought it up a treat!

I tried with a polishing cloth, I'd have been there a month!

Autosol and an old sock. Wrap the sock over the exhaust and use it like you were a boot boy, comes up a treat every time.

My exhaust hasn't been cleaned for a good while, it's in shameful condition! Is autosol corrosive enough to really take all that st off?

I have a correction, I used the Auto Glym metal polish, photos above speak for themselves, it works. Tempted to get some 3000 wet/dry on to get rid of a tiny stubborn mark...
