How much should a car re-paint match?
Discussion
That's very noticable. Looks light to me although possibly the edges of the colour coat are dark where he's tried to flick it out. It won't get any better over time or by polishing as it has a clearcoat over the base colour.
Unfortunately it's a common issue with pale metallics, not helped by the number of variant shades there may be for that particular colour plus the sprayers technique. Assuming they've picked the right variant in the first place. That said, I've had paint eyematched & even then it hasn't been a perfect match.
Is your colour Capuccino Beige? If so I've just looked it up in the paint system I use & that currently shows 2 'standard' shades plus a further 4 which are described as 'specials'. Possible in other paint systems that there may be more or less.
Doors can be particularly difficult as you have nowhere to go with the blend other than into adjacent undamaged panels.
If you just paint one door it is very likely to look different to the rest of the car. See a lot of them around & because of what I do they tend to be more obvious to me & one of the reasons why I won't get involved with door damage.
Angle of view is, as you have found, another problem. I do more caravan repairs now than cars & Swift do the Conqueror range with silver as an option. I was persuaded by one of my customers - a caravan sales company - to give it a go as one of their for sale caravans had a few dents which were putting potential buyers off.
I eventually agreed on the understanding that regardless of result they would cover the cost of the eyematch - 1/2 litre £80 plus VAT - & that no repair would be done unless the match was good.
Panel duly sent off.
On return I did a small test spray on that panel. Viewed square on - perfect. Viewed at an angle with sun behind me - perfect. Viewed at an angle with the sun in front of me - stuck out like a sore thumb. Consequently I won't touch silver caravans & those that came in for quotes after the Leicestershire hail storm a few years ago were quoted for replacement side panels - as in a complete new skin on the damaged side.
The various shades of white used by other makers & the shades of beige used by Bailey (currently 5) aren't a problem & I repair in the middle of panels without any issues.
Worst case you will need to spray the whole side of the car, wing, doors and quarter panel. Problem is that the bumper sides may then look different but not uncommon for bumpers to look slightly different anyway.

Thanks everyone, yeah it's cappuccino beige. How much will it cost to get right again and do you know anyone in the south east area who would be able to do a really really good job? If not, my friend has recommended someone as they had some deep scratches on the front wing of their white car fixed and you can't even see where it's been done.
As I don't get involved with full side resprays & am in Leicester I can't give any idea as to what the going rate in your area is but I would expect a fairly wide variation between bodyshops.
Personal recommendation is your best course but I will add a caveat that whites are usually very easy to do. If you narrow your location to your nearest large town with a bit of luck someone on here might have an idea.
