painting bonnet advice

I want to paint the bonnet on the wifes peugeot. The car isnt worth much and the bonnet has been previously painted and when jetwashing it i peeled it all off.
How hard/easy is it to paint? Im pretty good at DIY. Is an electric sprayer the best thing to use also where can i buy the correct paint. Any advice please?

Get a pro to do it. Seriously.

Alternatively spend 40 quid on a bonnet from a scrappy and practice. Then when you see the result, get a pro to do it.

If its a cheap car a backstreet place near me would do a perfectly fine job for around 80-120 quid depending on paint and prep needed.

Second hand panel in the same colour is probably the most cost effective route.
