After advice from the pro's please.

I've just landed a new job as a chauffeur and the role will see me looking after all aspects of the individuals vehicle. I think more vehicles will follow, probably classics but its the new I'm more interested in for now.

I'm reasonably good at cleaning motors but the key with this job will be the time element. There will be occasions when I'll get a full day on the main vehicle but for the most part I'll probably have to try and keep on top of it as I go. There is a product I've used in the past that I have found to be very good, it is one of those all in one water less wash type products. I guess its not ideal really? but if I'm honest it does a cracking job.

What would people recommend for quick but effective or am I ok with the water less wash product.

Leather seats also, what is the best on the market in this area?

A good quality, professionally applied Ceramic will make regular maintenance cleans a breeze.

We have recently applied Kenzo from IGL to a Chauffeur car and it just gets blown down with a jetwash every couple of days.

Leather-wise a foaming cleaner with a Tampico brush is best for an initial deep clean followed by a protection cream. Ignore 'moisturisers' or 'conditioners' as (most!) automotive leather has an impermeable coating on it that leaves such products just sitting on the surface, attracting more dirt...

Thanks for the reply.

I'm still a bit unsure of how things will pan out at the mo but will have more of an idea tomorrow when I've had a chat with my new boss.

They mentioned the other day that they wanted their car 'detailed' once I had dropped them at the airport.
Now I'm pretty certain that her definition of that is a bit different from mine, (I could be wrong though.)
Especially as she said she wanted 2 cars done on Monday, both big 4x4's

Until I can get exact specifics from her I'm scratching my head a bit as we all know there are huge variations on car washing, polishing, detailing etc. I'm pretty certain that all they actually want is their vehicle to be gleaming at all times and I'm happy to do this as it is part of my job, I just want some more specifics from her at what level she is expecting so I can tell her quite how long these things take to be done properly.
Hope that makes sense.

I had a nose at your website, very good, and am supposed to be dropping someone off 10 minutes from Cirencester on Tuesday.

Pop in for a cuppa and a chat!

My business partner Ian will be there. I'm off fluffing something for Practical Classics magazine...

Thanks for the offer, but now have extra running around to do for a guest.
I do seem to be getting your way a fair bit, so will pop in for that cuppa I'm sure.
