As title, canon dirt under the very edge of the film be removed, or best left alone? its only been on 8 weeks, so doesn't bode well...

If it's on the outside of the film, it can be cleaned off.
If it's crept under, it should be left.
It shouldn't really be lifting at the edges after such a short time though.

What is Canon dirt?

I have my whole car PPF'd and I used Zymol for added protection so I have wax at the edge, fine for a white car not so for a red on closer inspection, I go round with a small plastic tooth pick removing the excess wax

On the note of it lifting then it shouldn't do this, not unless you have been using TFR as this will lift the wrap.

Where did you get yours done? Mine was done at Topaz in london.

I have that on a few places on my new car. It was a year old when I got it so I have to live with it for now. I will replace it at some point.

I had I fitted from new on an S2000 about 10 years ago and the trick was to wipe away from the edge when washing rather than against it.

After 6 years of it being on I had no issues at all.
