bought a banger bodywork looked fine from a distance but on closer inspection dull and areas of oxidation. it is black i think metallic, what do you recommend, is t cut the best. i know the best solution is rub down and polish but don't have the tools.

How good do you want it & how much time are you prepared to spend on it? Personally I'd take a few hours to clay it, then Poorboys Black Hole to fill light swirls then a coating of Natty Black Wax. Thats the short version. The full version would be clay, machine polish then black hole, polish, sealant, wax.
