Disguising Chips in PPF

I have Expel self healing PPF, but the chips are too deep to heal, The good news is the PPF has done its job, but looks a bit unsightly. against mid blue car the chip marks in the PPF look white, is there a way to disguise until I replace those section?

obviously cant be swapping out sections weekly..lol.

Would a dot from a marker pen of similar colour work? I'd suggest spirit based to avoid rain washing it off.

Certainly works to take the eye off chips on paintwork.

A tiny amount of clear coat via a cocktail stick works well
