Cleaning slime - tell me what to buy or how to make my own

So we're getting ready to sell the OH's Z4 M Coupe.
It was all going lovely until I started trying to get the bits of dust out of the nooks and crannies, like the recesses for your finger on the window switches, the gaps round the trim of the gear level gaiter, round the ( really badly shaped) ashtray.
I've seen this cleaning slime stuff online, but can't see any info on the vast font (or perhaps cistern might be a better description) of knowledge that is the non-silly bits of PH.
I've seen that you can buy it, and I've also seen that you can make it.
Do you buy/use it?
Do you make your own?
Where do you source the products/ingredients?
