Hi all,

okay, I know the answer to the question "is it worth it?" when paying for it yourself...

I, however, have been given a voucher for a "Free application of Autoglym Lifeshine and associated products" voucher from the local Skoda dealership.

When I bought my car a couple of months ago, I negotiated the application of Lifeshine for free... (I will always have doubts about whether it was done....)

So, is it worth getting it done again for free? The paintwork on my car is immaculate and I always worry about people damaging it unnecessarily.

So... would you get it done?

I'm not an expert on products, but I think it all boils down to who is doing the application and how good the technique / preparation is. You can be using the most expensive products on earth, but if applied with a gritty old dishcloth... you know the rest.

Maybe ask in the valet section if the forum, quite a few professionals on there seem to know the products well from firsthand experience.

The product it's self does work (although not as well as they make out) but as above, it depends on how it's applied.
If you're happy with the way the car is now, it's probably not worth having it done.
