Front bumper bump - fix it not?
Discussion
Somebody reversed into the front bumper of the family car while my wife was sitting in it.
Our car is a BMW E90. Other car is a Renault Clio. We could claim off their insurance, but it is just a PITA if this is nothing.
Wife estimates the impact speed was a fast walking pace, but even she says she is not a good judge of speed. No visible damage to rear bumper of Clio. Front number plate of the BMW is cracked, but not all the way through and it hasn't fallen off. Can't see any other signs of damage.
OTOH something similar happened in a different car a few years back, I let it go and about 6 months later the paint started to chip off at the impact location.
So - do you think this is OK to forget about or could there be some internal damage I should get fixed?
