I used the wrong shade of a car polishing compound on my friends Toyota, her car is red but I used a dark red, maroon shade car polishing compound and now the scratch is dark red, how can I fix this? Thanks

Do you mean coloured wax? A good wash with washing up liquid usually strips wax quite well. Then re-wax?

It'll wash off soon enough. That stuff is crap.

Yeah, clean it with something like washing up liquid, and re-wax it.

Coloured wax is basically a rubbish gimmick. The top coat of the paint is probably clear, anyway.
