Where to find painted samples when choosing a new car colour

I'm trying to get hold of some paint samples so I can decide on what I want to re-spray my R33 GTR in as it's having a full restoration shortly.

I'd like to get some proper paint samples done, something like what is shown in the youtube video below, any idea on where I can order these? I know I could ask Halfords etc to make up a can but not sure that would be a true repersentation, plus I'd like to see the finish done properly with lacquer. Any guidance please?

You’re better off doing it yourself. Find a spare panel and spray from a rattle can mixed to the correct colour. That is what I did when picking the respray colour for for one of my cars.
The problems is, for it to be worthwhile for anybody else to do, they are going to have to charge you a significant amount for the time involved.

Any decent restoration/custom type bodyshop will have those sample car shapes in stock and will do you a sample of a few colours.

I own a bodyshop and I’ve got those sample shapes in stock, alongside the usual flat spray out cards, which pretty much any bodyshop will have.

Thank you for the feedback. I'll visit Halfords and ask them to make me a spray can and also visit an automotive paint supplier which is close and see what they can do

best of luck. It's a painful process- finally settling on a colou, giving the go-ahead and then having doubts when it is too late to change your mind!!
MIne turned out OK in the end but I didn't go for a wild colour.
