Hi all
have used the autoglym kit to restore the placky headlights on my mx. Come up nice(as they did a year or two ago).
Presume its UV causing them to go dull again?

Would spraying this sort of thing on work?

Can i ask you how long did your initial refurb of the lights lasted? I have just done the lights on my daughter's Yaris and was wondering how long it would be before they go cloudy again.

Just used the (acrylic?) wipe on sealant that came in the kit. The difference is night and day for such a simple job so well worth doing.

Theres no wipe on sealant in the autoglym kit. So my lamps were left exposed as it were.

I think it was a year ago, maybe the year before I did them last.

Yep, lamp lenses are polycarbonate which ages quickly without the UV lacquer being applied.

Tks. 2yrs should do she probably will have sold it by then!

You should put something on them. If you are going to mask up for spraying then might as well go for 2k lacquer as it will last longer.
