Restore interior armrest from UV damage?
Discussion
I've got an old W203 and the armrest (centre console) surface has been destroyed by heat/UV. The top layer has gone brittle and rough.
I've got the anthracite/black interior.
What options are there to get it restored?
I've managed to acquire a spare, so I could send it off to be done professionally.
Anyone done this before/expectations/recommendations?

As something like this is probably an issue that affects multiple makes of cars, you might get a better response posting here:

Can you post some pictures?
What do you mean by Anthracite? Do you mean leather in anthracite colour or do you mean alcantara material?
There are ways to improve it depending on the material you are referring to, and how bad the damage is, but the best way to completely repair is probably to retrim it?
