Does applying a ceramic polish on alloy wheels make it easier to remove brake dust etc. and what would they recommend.?
If i get as many recommendations as the 'witty' replies i will be most grateful.

It does help clean them, I have never tried a ceramic coating but something like GTechniq wheel armour is often recommended.
There are lots to choose from though all doing a similar thing, Garage Therapy make some nice products too and have a dedicated wheel coating called Hades.

Have tried both wax polish and ceramic coat on the tractor wheels, whilst the ceramic coat did help stop general road film build up in the wheels i found brake dust more difficult to wash off with ceramic applied.
Found similar on the standard alloys on our cars, the ceramic didn't really help much, a coat of Poorboys wheel wax seemed better.
Only my opinion and far from an expert.
