Just finished my last tin of Goodwood branded wax polish. Not sure who actually makes it but I really like it, particularly because it goes on almost clear with a damp cloth and you don't end up with white marks all over your trim etc. Can anyone please recommend a widely available polish like this?

Thanks

Is that available at your typical motor shop, e.g. Halfrauds? Doesn't have to be super-premium stuff, I just don't want a car that looks like a five year old has been at it with Tipp-Ex! What's AutoGlym or Mer like in this regard?

Did you want a polish or a wax or something that combines both products? Is it protection you are after or are you removing oxidisation?

What you can buy from Halfords etc is OK....Meguiars Three Step and AutoGlym Super Resin Polish followed with Ultra Deep Shine do a good job, Mer is not worth purchasing. However for similar money you can purchase a number of amazing products from specialist companies such as Chemical Guys, Meguiars, Swissvax, ClearKote, etc.

Have a look at www.detailingworld.com for a much more detailed guide.
