Best Sealer to Use?

Wonder if anyone can help.

Replacing the tailgate wing/spoiler on my hatchback. There are 6 bolts from the bootlid to attach the spoiler. Is there a good sealant to use that will stop water getting into the bolt holes and rusting the bolts?

I don't want somwething that will bond the spoiler to the tailgate. But it'll have to adhere to the wing enough so that it stays in situ whilst I offer the spoiler up to the tailgate, and screw the bolts through the sealant...

I've hear Sikaflex suggested...but it seems to be as much a glue as a sealant.....

Any help appreciated

A small amount of sikoflex will seal it up and hold it in place while you screw it on , yet still be removable , if with a little persuasion...
