How to cover rust on top of doors

Hi

Can anyone recommend something to cover the rust on the top of the doors on an IX35.

Its only a banger but would prefer to stop it getting any worse

Rub down all the loose and then apply a rust converter from someone like jenolite, apply a paint when cured for extra protection.

You may as well use Dulux emulsion these days, Hammerite is rubbish.
