In the photo you'll see the headlining drooping over the top of the rear screen (mercedes convertible)
The lining is attached to a white plastic strip and clips into the trim. I've tried clipping it in several times, pushing it in with a trim tool. But it always works loose again after maybe 20 or so roof activations.
I'm think of sticking the strip in but wondering about glue? I've some quick acting stuff that came with an upholstery repair kit and secures patches okay. Worth trying? Or would something else be more suitable?

Headlining glues need to be able to stand a pretty high temp, I expect your top will get pretty hot as well in full sun. I'd try something like TRIM-FIX.
+1.You need the high temperature one.
Martrim do it in aerosol form & in a tin to spread on. I used their aerosols & headlining kit when I retrimmed my Classic Range Rover headlining panels.

I've used the PU stuff from furniture clinc.
Because,
A) I had some
B) Small bottle with applicator
C) Withstands temps up to 93c
D) If it doesn't work I'll buy some of the recommended trim fix
It's not really under any stress, the bead takes the strain, just to keep it in location when the hood is deployed.
Thanks chaps.
