Hello all

For those who know what it is, I am preparing my Manta Mirage for a trip abroad. The previous owners in the US had an air ride system for the front shocks, run from a small pump in the engine bay. It was tired so they scrapped it.

The car is rather low and long at the front and I would like to reinstall a basic system to lift the front for speed ramps etc.

It has vw Beetle front suspension.

Anyone able to recommend anyone who could do this, I am in Kent

Sorry I can't help, but nice looking car. smile

I saw a picture of one of these on an American "Vintage" car website, not only stating that it was a McLaren M6GT, but also that it had been driven by Clay Regazzoni in the Targa Florio!

I'm sorry I can't be specific, but it would be worth asking in hot rod / custom type circles.

You may find some decent answers on an air cooled VW forum, but Lime Bug do an air ride kits for a VW front beam

It's been a while since I was up to speed on VW kit, but it's not a bad place to start your search.

Cool car btw smile
