I occasionally watch the Retropower Youtube channel and see they are doing a Vauxhall Chevette at the moment. Seems someone 'across the pond' had a similar idea and beat them to it....yeehaa.

Dash doesn’t fit very well, which is a shame, as I do like the concept.

And why? I could understand it if the engine was huge V8 or a long I6 - but the Honda isn't going to be much bigger than a slant 4.

Maybe a "I've got a Chevette with a blown engine, plenty of time but no money, and the guy down the scrappy has the remnants of an S2000. So..." moment.

It's an unwritten law, just passed by me, that Chevettes must have box arches.

It looks bloated with those bubble arches.
