Sorry its a Daily Wail link.. Seems like a few people don't like someone parking their collection of Rollers in their village.

I know the area - difficult to park at the best of times - this would be very frustrating for locals

RR man hasn't actually done anything wrong though has he? If it were 4 Mondeos then no one would give a st!

Daily Fail comments section is a pretty dismal insight into the general public.....

You'll get dirty looks for driving a Mondeo through there, let alone parking four of them.

Legally he’s fine, but it’s still being a selfish dick.

I'm guessing they're all tax and MOT exempt too.

So just a measly sum on a classic policy and 5 mins of paperwork to keep them all legal.

A rougher area would result in the cars being keyed, tyres let down etc. Probably why they’re there rather than where he lives. Out of order to do it long term.

Plenty of inaccuracy in that article. They are not vintage RRs, just Classicand the 'Silver Shadow II' is a Silver Wraith.

The part of Yorkshire I grew up in they'd be down to the chassis within about a fortnight..

Find out where he lives and park a load of cars there and I bet it would be a very different reaction

The claim on the note: "These spaces are for visitors" is complete buIIshlt rolleyes

Unless there are resident only/Permit holder only restrictions in place, the spaces are for ANY member of the public to park a road legal vehicle there, just as they are on any public road without parking restrictions, and the law sets no limitations on how many vehicles an owner can park in that road.

Is it annoying that someone has parked multiple cars in the area? - Yes, especially if parking is limited there.
Is it inconsiderate if someone has parked multiple cars in the area? - Again, yes, especially if parking is limited there.
Is it illegal? - No.

Placing a shlt load load of paper notices on the cars is not going to change anything, except leave the cars looking untidy with pieces of weather damaged paper hanging off them (and if any damage is caused to the vehicles due to notices being put on them, or any other action being taken against the vehicles, the person who caused the damage would end up being arrested for criminal damage [if caught of course])

It's certainly selfish, but those Dulwich residents are perfectly suited to being Daily Wail readers. rofl

If a car is legal you can park it anywhere on the street if there are no parking restrictions. Maybe they should just be grateful they weren't all "Classics Left to Rot/Die!

It's not the general public, it's DM readers.
In fact it's not even that, it's the minority of DM readers angry enough about things to bother signing up so they can comment.
