The whole things a bit... Amateurish.
Rear wheels dont look central to the arch. Electrics dont look great. As you say the chassis/structure needs a good going over. To me the steering wheel/column looks very high. The rear lights dont look like they're symmetrically positioned LtoR.
Then you have the aluminium wall louvre vents dotted about the place! One over the exhaust as some sort of heat shield, then two crudely bunged on the bonnet.
Best case - Needs a total rebuild and then an IVA. Worst case - broken for bits.

If this was registered as Morris special, Kit Car or something other than of another car, you might just get away with it but not like this. I saw one the other day that was registered as NovaVWNovaVW. That's OK but VW Beetle on a Nova kit car isn't.

At a guess I'd say it was a Morris van as they had a separate chassis.
It may not be everyone's cup of tea but no need to slag off what was obviously someone's P&J.
At least it's been used a lot, driving from New Forest to London in it takes commitment. The underneath looks like mainly surface corrosion, day with wire brush some rust treatment and decent primer / gloss will sort it out.

It's got nothing to do with a Morris Minor other than using the V5/VIN.
It is what it is. A home built car with a lot of rust underneath. Worth about £4.50 I'd say, but what does that matter?
I've got a Lotus 7 from the eighties. It's clearly not a L7 as they didn't make them in the 80s and it has a Caterham chassis. It is what it is!
