Length of that bonnet suggests some relation of The Beast, i.e. room for an aircraft engine under there!

Side of the body/cabin looks like it may be from a Standard Ten:

Interesting that the car has a split front window, much larger guards indicating perhaps a track extension, along with the later fatter tyres.

If it hasn't been modified, I think the clue could be in the front across the guards with the mounting of the headlights. Spring steel front and rear bumpers we common.

Air intake on bonnet obviously later, but looks like single rather than twin, which is another clue. Grill and extra cooler would seem to be later, and some extra cooling vents aside the grill would appear to be mods as well.

Yes, it looks like everything in front of the windscreen is a later addition.

Is that a tiny little man standing on the rear bumper. Leprechaun? Borrower? Hobbit?

Didn't Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder collaborate on car design under the name Chunder? smile

My guess is standard 10 cab on a bus or truck chassis (wheels look massive for any car never mind a vintage car) and bonnet etc are homemade hot rod additions.

Clearly a ‘bitsa’. Ant Hill Mob styling reminiscent of an early 30s Hudson or similar. Length of bonnet could accommodate a straight 8 by the looks of it, although I suspect it’s powered by a SBC 350 like the majority of rods.

Not sure of the relevance of the question. The front plate appears to be a UK black & silver jobbie and it's RHD, so probably built in the UK even if the photo wasn't taken here.

Now that the number plate is visible, it's coming up on the govt website as a "Carbodies Bitsa" smile
