Something popped up on my FB regarding the above, apparently an original low mileage car which was taken but just to rub salt in the wounds the thieves videoed themselves with it and posted it online!

Thanks to scumbags like that I never had one in the early 90s because they were virtually uninsurable.
But that may have done me a favour because when I finally got to drive one in the late 90s at Silverstone it was a big disappointment with massive turbo lag, and a blown head gasket after a couple of laps!
So at current prices I just laugh because there are so many better options for the money, but I really feel for the owner. Some things don't seem to have changed.
