Hello all,

I need to have a vinyl roof fitted to the Jensen, but can’t find anyone to do the job.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Based in Essex.

Cheers.

Given the horror stories from vinyl roofs trapping moisture and rotting a car from the inside out have you given any thought to having a Raptor bedliner paint sprayed on- it has a textured finish which might look like a vinyl roof but without the risks.

^^^^ don’t do that; with respect, it’ll look sh!t.

Have you tried Cass Brothers in Bromley. I’ve had a lot of quite similar stuff done there and they have space to have cars on the premises to work on them.

More to the point why do you want a vinyl roof?

Most were only fitted to cover up roof damage!

I recently used Aldridge Trimming in Wolverhampton for the vinyl roof on my Austin 1300GT.
They fitted a new headlining & soundproofing to the inside of the roof too.
Very good job, really pleased. For me it was worth travelling from Hampshire to get it done by a company I trust.

They were standard fitment on the Interceptor SP (amongst numerous 70s cars), and suit some cars/colours. IMHO wink

You could try county coach trimming near Maldon.

I m not sure if this is their thing but I ve used them in the past for seat upholstery and a steering wheel. They also used to do a lot of the trimming for JD Classics.
