It's cheap, I'll give you that. But if it's less than perfect (hard to tell from the pictures), or needs some cosmetic work, then it's about the right money, I'd say

At that price, I'd suspect that it needs a fair amount of work. If the sills need doing, then I'd say it was maybe even overpriced. I saw one that was being worked on at a local bodywork specialist, and they reckoned that although it hadn't looked too bad on the outside, the labour bill ended up at 30K

Its cheap because its not a V8 Volante. Its a V8 saloon which has been converted at some point. So as well as all the other questions (how rusty is in underneath? Engine- its at elast £10k for a rebuild); you'll also need to ask

1) Who did the job, and how good are they?
2) Was the underside strengthened, like it should be?

The very first Volante (which survives and is well known) and everyone since has the "oscar india" series of improvemnet,s indlcuing faired in bonnet scoop, altered rear end and, most famous of all the return of walnut to the interior.

Interesting point william ,I wouldn`t have spotted it.I hope it`s in better nick than his lawn hehe
