I had a pot noodle for lunch

It must be 15 years since the last time I ate one

Just in case anyone else was going to try it, don't bother, it was fg horrible

As you were.....

I can't stand 'Not Poodle' but have always liked its associate, 'Pot Rice'. I haven't seen any on sale for a while, does anyone know if they are still available ?

Silly silly boy, write out 3000 times - "I will not think of trying Pot Noodle again. Ever"

Must admit I did the same thing a few weeks back, starving hungry, wanted something hot tasty and edible.

Ended up flushing it down the bog after the second mouthful, I really can't understand how it is possible to create something so truly disgusting and still sell enough of them to be able to afford a TV advertising campaign - it really beggars belief - people actually buy, eat and enjoy this shit.

During university a mate bought a load of them from the wholesalers hoping to live on one a day for a term.

About 15 days in his body started rejecting them.

It was most amusing, all exits no waiting action...

Much more appetising if you chuck out the contents and eat the carton.

A bit like Mars Bars then - don't really like the standard ones but I loved the Mars 'Dark and White' they brought out for a while back in the mid '90s. Wish they'd make it again. Basically a Mars bar made with dark chocolate and a really soft creamy nougat centre

I haven't had a decent doner in years, where I live now the nearest kebaberies are all down in battersea/clapham and look like the sort of places you might be ill for a VERY long time if you visited..

Yep, loved the Dark and Light, not a big fan of the normal ones.

I see nothing wrong with pot chemical. Not much right with it either. I had sushi for lunch.

Years ago I worked for as an engineer on a prototype not poodle machine.... The raw product (basically flour water and salt) is absolutely gorgeous when it's fresh out of the fryer

Anyway, must go. The doner diet is having the desired "shit yourself thin" effect

I've recently rediscovered super noodles. Only seem to enjoy them when I've got a hangover though

Yup - another vote here for Pot Noodle as a hang over cure. Also very useful when you get in from work at 19:49 and need to be out again but 20:00!

Never said it tasted nice, but once in a while when needed it's a god send!

bombay bad boy, ultimate bachelor food!!, for a nourishing meal, you need one 'pot slop' and a BLT sarnie to dunk in the 'pot'
