I've just redecorated my bedroom (new furniture and all!) and am looking for things to put on the wall.

I'd quite like to put some framed black and white photos of some of my musical Gods (Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, and the highly controversial Michael Jackson) up there, but finding anything decent online is proving tricky.

Does anybody know of anywhere good that doesn't just sell tacky colour posters?

Universities - we often have a sale in the bassment of our Union which sells massive posters. I personally have a huge 4*3' poster of Steve McQueen from The Great Escape (the standard image) in an Ikea frame Posters go for around £2.50 each or 3 for a fiver I think

Athena seems to have cleaned up its act now. We've got one in town that seems to concentrate more on artistic photos and prints than cheeky tennis players and airbrushed Testarossas.

Cant see the problem there, MJ sees you through the B&W comfortably

There used to be a great poster shop in Covent Garden.

Just on the corner of Neal Street.

Not sure if its still there though...

I'm not sure, but I think you might mean the one on Compton St. There's a Forbidden Planet on, err, that road where the Limelight Club is. Just up from the east side of Leicester Square anyway.
