Myself and a friend want to go see a Liverpool match in the near future before exams and such like start up again!

We are looking at either the Liverpool vs. Leverkusen champions league match at Anfield on February 22 or the league match against Spurs on April 16th.

How do you go about getting hold of tickets, what is the best and cheapest way? I have always used friends within the supporters clubs for away tickets but have never tried to buy for a home match at Anfield.

Can anyone help??

No idea really but have you tried the offical site?....if not then these may be of use:

If all else fails you can always try ticketmaster at the last minute.

Sorry, might be a stupid comment, but can you pay on the gate at Anfield? Probably not for Prem games but
seing as you average Champ League game has a lower attendance they might just let you pay on the day for that game?

As said, phone them.

Alternatively ask a Scouse PH'er if they'll go to the ticket office for you.

I'd do it for you but the ground I can see out of my window here is Old Trafford and not Anfield.

might see a better game here though, give me a shout

If tickets are still available on the night, then yes you can buy them at the gate, cash only.

Tickets are available on general sale from the 16 Feb at 9:15am till 4:45pm. That's if there are any left.

The general rule of thumb seems to be the likes of ticketmaster et al will sell tickets at 3 times the face value. So that'll be around 90quid per ticket(!)

How do we go about buying these tickets?? Do you have to buy them on the gate at Anfield or can we contact them by phone/email??

Find the Liverpool FC official website and they'll have their ticket office phone number there and then you can ring them up with your credit card and they'll post them out to you.
