To all those who helped. My Son now has the NW-HD3 and is delighted with it. Now he just has to fill it! He did manage to fund it himself even if My malfunctioning Motorola V3690 was replaced by his V150 and I bought the V620 for Him to use until He gets bored when I take it over and He buys the newest one himself. Kids don't know they are born!

Sorry not very clear! In order for him to get a New phone and the Sony, I bought the Phone and let him have it so long as I got his old Phone (the V150), which fits in the same holster as my old V3690.

I see from the other thread you found an MS fix. I remember reading about that now you mention it but it was not something that I needed for either of my installations.

If you ever find the 'plug-in' program that enables SonicStage to rip files as MP3 rather than Atrac I would like to know where please.

The documentation refers to it but Sony UK support say it doesn't exist/may be for the US market only.
